Megalodon - Largest Shark that Ever Lived
Dive deep below the ocean's surface, and journey back 20 million years to witness the terrifying spectacle of Megalodon - Largest Shark that Ever Lived.  This travelling exhibition from the Florida Museum of Natural History and the National Science Foundation immerses the visitor in the myths, mysteries, and majesty of one of the largest and most powerful predators of all time.  Centered around a sculptural representation of the almost 60-foot-long behemoth, 5,000 square feet of fossils, video experiences, and interactive components examine the evolution, biology, truths, and even celebrity status of giant prehistoric sharks, and looks at the state of shark populations more than two million years after megalodon vanished. Megalodon - Largest Shark that Ever Lived runs through January 3, 2017.
