Covid-19 Update April 30, 2020
GECare Guidelines for Reopening
It appears that markets around the world are slowly opening in staged levels and we wanted to ensure we've provided guidance which is of assistance to you as you contemplate doing business in current and future conditions.

Our team has been busy collecting data from the World Health Organization (WHO), Center For Disease Control (CDC), and other health protection agencies around the world to compile a list of best practices for reopening your store to ensure your staff and customers' health and safety.
The GreenEarth Care Guidelines for Reopening include procedures from your front door, to the spotting board, to your delivery routes. It's important to reinforce to your customers and your staff that you're taking the appropriate measures and going the extra mile with their safety as your number one priority.

You can download the GECare Guidelines to print and post in your store visible to your staff and customers. If you'd like to create custom, consumer facing versions of this to post on your website, send out to your customers in an e-blast, and share on social media, please contact affiliatesupport@greenearthcleaning.com. We're more than happy to assist in any way we can as you prepare to slowly get back to some form of normalcy.
Throwback Thursday to Motivation Monday
We're all probably all a little tired of see stories that start out, "In these challenging times..."

But in these challenging times, it can be hard to find a silver lining. That's why it makes us proud to share these stories and shine a light on good deeds being done by the GreenEarth Family as often as we can.

We continue to see these stories scroll across our feeds and it gives us a great sense of pride to be associated with so many best-in-class business owners around the globe.
Business Interruption Insurance
We wanted to start this topic off by acknowledging that this an evolving situation.

There has been talk of an additional stimulus package that would be designed specifically to allow insurance companies the means of providing business interruption insurance funds to those business owners who feel that this clause written into their policy applies to this pandemic.

So if you have a business interruption clause in your policy, guidance to us has been that it's absolutely worth applying now for funds. Even if your insurance company denies you at this time, it may be important to get your name in the queue if in fact this stimulus package does take place.
Tracking SBA Loan Affiliate Approval
As most of you know by now, an additional  $310 billion in funding for the Payment Protection Program has passed through Congress to supplement the original $349 billion that was in the CARES legislation. Lending institutions are now accepting applications for these funds. We suggest you contact your bank if you have not already received funds.

It is our understanding that lending institutions have been capped at 10% of available funds. So it may be necessary to apply at more than one bank.

Since the distribution of the first round of funds began, we received responses to our poll from 185 Affiliates with 30% answering  YES to having received approval and/or funds from their bank on either the EIDL or PPP SBA loans.

If you answered  NO previously and your status has changed, or if you have not answered the question, please let us know.
Have you received loan approval and/or direct funds for either EIDL or PPP from your bank?
