I know of many singles who seemingly spend their every waking moment dreaming and thinking about getting married one day.
Some are so focused on their own desire to get married that it's almost as if they forget that there's a big world out here with many people dying, hurting and needing Jesus and a demonstration of God's love in the form of help, yet instead of focusing on helping others, some turn towards self and are so self absorbed with their own cries to God for a ring.
Don't desire marriage so badly that you begin to covet it.
It's okay to desire marriage so long as it doesn't turn into a care.
Psalm 37:4
Cast all your cares on the Lord while remaining content during this season of singleness in your life. Ecclesiastes 3:1
God heard your prayer the first time; in the meantime continue to enjoy life and pursue your purpose. John 10:10; Jeremiah 1:5
Yes, God has a work for you to do right now.
You don't have to wait until you're married to make a significant impact on society and make your mark in the world. 1 Corinthians 7:32
You're called to be the head and not the tail, above and not beneath and you don't have to wait until your last name changes in order to walk in it. Deuteronomy 28:13
If all you desire in life is marriage then I suggest you go back to the prayer closet right now and ask God, Himself, if there is any thing else He would like you to do for Him or want you to have.
As you sit and listen while really seeking God I'm positive He will slowly and surely reveal His plan for your life. Jeremiah 29:13
Yes, you can have it all - as long as you seek first His kingdom, His ways of doing things and His will - then all those other things and desires of yours shall come to pass.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33
