Keep Your Cool When Temperatures Rise
With rising temperatures and the ever present threat of heat waves Delaware County Council informs residents about the County's Heat Plan. During a heat wave, seniors, young children and those with health challenges are vulnerable to the heat. To combat this COSA provides fans to senior centers and adult care centers for the use of residents. Councilman John McBlain reminds people to stay hydrated, wear lightweight clothing, avoid strenuous activity, and stay indoors. COSA's heat info line (610) 872-1558 provides residents with heat advisory updates and information. For more information visit www.co.delaware.pa.us
