Congratulations on your acceptance and welcome to ESF! We are excited for you to join our online campus community!

Throughout the summer, you will receive newsletters to help you prepare for your virtual onboarding ESF. They’ll include important information such as action items, deadlines, resources available to help you, and much more.

We’re here for you every step of the way to support your successful transition to ESF! If you have questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to klang@esf.edu or 315-470-4882.

We look forward to seeing you online soon!

ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNTS

You will need to set up your myESF Student Portal to complete your ESF Checklist and SU Tasks, which are due prior to the start of Fall semester classes.

Access your Applicant Portal online here >

Use the same credentials you used to apply to ESF. In your Applicant Portal, you will find an ESF PIN (F + 8 numbers) to use to set up your ESFiD and password credentials.

Set up your ESFiD online here >

In the yellow box on your Applicant Portal, go to step 4 and click on the link to set up your ESFiD.

This is your myESF portal, which you will continue to use to access a lot of student information in the future. You will need your ESFiD credentials. At the portal, please review Action Items and Personal Information and ESF Checklist and SU Tasks on the left sidebar to progress through time-sensitive tasks.

You will also need to monitor the status of your SU NetID — you will be notified in the SU Tasks portal when it is ready to be activated. Once ready, you will find your SU NetID (user name) and SUID Number (9-digit number) under the Registration and Other SU Tasks. You will need these to complete some SU tasks.

SUBMIT YOUR TRANSCRIPTS

ESF will pre-register you over the summer for many of your fall courses.

Submit all college/university credit, including AP scores and final transcripts, to ESF's Office of Undergraduate Admissions. You can either email them to us at esfinfo@esf.edu or drop them in the mail to:

ESF's Office of Student Success and Engagement is your source for academic support services, student involvement, and campus leadership resources! There are plenty of ways to stay connected from afar.

Get Involved: Students have access to more than 40 student organizations at ESF and more than 300 at Syracuse University. You can enrich your academic experience by getting involved in these professional, recreational, service, and social groups. Attend online events or meetings.

Find the Support You Need: The Academic Success Center helps students become resilient, independent learners. We offer Peer Tutoring and help connect students to academic and social support resources such as the Math Center, Writing Resource Center, Public Speaking Lab, AXS Test Files, Counseling Services, Center for Disability Resources, Librarians, and faculty/TA office hours.
