Microbiology Research Opportunity at Fullerton College
|
|
If you would like to pursue a science fair research project in Microbiology, contact Dr. Li for information on how to apply.
You must have 60 - 100 hours dedicated to this project from October, 2016 to February 2017. You MUST be committed to submit a project to 2017 Orange County Science and Engineering Fair. The research will be mentored by a member of the Fullerton College Biology Department faculty with access to suitable research equipment available at its various science labs. Students need to have time available for workshops and meetings on Saturdays. The first meeting will be on October 8, 2016.

| Ten Schools Admission Organization (TSAO) Visiting Southern California |
|
The Ten Schools Admission Organization (TSAO) will be holding information sessions in Los Angeles and Newport Beach. The ten elite boarding schools from the east coast include Choate Rosemary Hall, Deerfield Academy, The Hill School, The Hotchkiss School, The Lawrenceville School, The Loomis Chaffee School, Phillips Academy, Phillips Exeter Academy, St. Paul's School, and The Taft School.

UC Irvine Debuts the first Public College eSports Arena in the U.S. with Scholarships

University of California, Irvine (UCI)'s is launching the first public eSports Arena on September 23, 2016 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
As part of its eSports initiative, UC Irvine is offering 10 scholarships valued at $15,000 each to the competitive
League of Legends players.
