Gift Launches New UCSF Training Program for Jobs in Health Care: UCSF has received a transformative gift from the Crankstart Foundation to create a workforce development program to train about 2,000 San Francisco residents over the next five years for careers in health care. The $14 million pledge will support partnerships with local nonprofits to train community members for well-paid roles as medical practice coordinators, medical assistants and radiology technologists at UCSF. Faculty Resource Fair and Development Day: Faculty at all stages of their careers are invited to the in-person Faculty Resource and Networking Fair at Mission Bay Conference Center on Monday, September 9 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event features more than 40 programs and services that support faculty at UCSF. Then, on Tuesday, September 10, faculty can take part in virtual panel sessions and workshops for professional development and resources to enhance their life at UCSF. Get more information »

MyTime Update: UCSF is preparing to launch MyTime, a new scheduling system that will replace four current enterprise systems – HBS for time and attendance, and Clairvia, StaffReady and OnOrOff. MyTime will modernize the way UCSF manages timekeeping tasks across the campus and health system by easing manual processes and creating a better user experience. The MyTime system is expected to launch in early 2025.
