Meet the Teacher Night is next Monday, August 14th!

📌 Meet the Teacher Night is Monday, August 14th, 5-7:30 PM! This is one Cougar event you don't want to miss! Meet the Teacher Night is the perfect way to kick off your year at CCA. In addition to meeting your child's teacher and receiving important class information and dates, you will have the opportunity to learn about volunteer opportunities and upcoming social events and preview after-school activities.

The schedule of events is as follows:

• 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM Worship & Welcome (Worship Center)
• 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM Gathering Hall Social
• 6:05 PM - 6:35 PM Meet the Teacher Session 1 (PK & Elem)
• 6:40 PM - 7:10 PM Meet the Teacher Session 2 (PK & Elem)
• 6:40 PM - 7:30 PM Middle School Session

We created two (2) sessions and a Middle School session in order for families with multiple students to have a chance to meet all their teachers. We hope to see you there!

☀️ "Brighter Days" Spirit Day! Instead of having a Spirit Week this year, we will have a dedicated Spirit Day each month.

Wednesday, August 30th will be "Brighter Days" Spirit Day. Wear your brightest summer colors, and let's reflect God's light!

🩷 Room Parent Interest Form. As a room parent, you have the opportunity to have a positive impact on the spiritual, academic, and social lives of every child at our school while at the same time blessing your child's teacher! Room parent responsibilities include:

• Communicating via email with families in your class about upcoming school events, class parties, teacher's birthday, and Teacher Appreciation Week.
• Planning and organizing a celebration for your teacher's birthday.
• Planning and organizing three class parties with the help of other classroom parents. (Christmas, Valentine's, and End-of-Year).
• Attending Parent Association meetings.
• Scheduling classroom volunteers, if needed by the teacher.

🗓️ First Parent Meeting of the School Year. The Parent Association will host their first school-wide parent meeting on Friday, August 25th. Meet other parents and learn about the many ways to get involved.

👕 PA Online Spirit Store is now online! Orders that were placed before the morning of August 9th will be available for pickup at Meet the Teacher Night. Orders placed now will be sent home with students on August 18th. Used Uniforms WILL NOT be available for purchase at Meet the Teacher Night.
