In March of this year 2023 we had the blessing of receiving the board of directors of Global Missions. It was an honor to have them here in Costa Rica. God gave us the opportunity for them to attend one of our services and to visit another church. They also gave us the opportunity to show them the great things God is doing in our churches. One need we had was the lack of more classrooms for classes, especially for young people. After the brothers on the board left, we received a very special offering from Creekside Open Bible Church in Martinez, California, and Pastor George Willis to expand our church and provide needed space for the youth. Now they will have their own space.

We are very grateful for all of you who touch your hearts to bless the work of God and for all your prayers.

In September of 2023, we had two activities with a great impact on our church and community.

First, we had a trauma restoration training aimed at people who work or provide services with:

• Children who have suffered trauma due to abandonment, sexual abuse, violence intrafamilial,
• Youth Ministry Leaders,
• Leaders and servants of counseling ministries in churches.

This course was coordinated and taught by Sister Jenna Whittle of Open Bible in Des Moines, Iowa.

Seventy people from different churches and denominations were impacted by this opportunity that the Open Bible in Costa Rica opened for the churches of our city.

Second, On September 23, we had an evangelistic activity aimed at evangelizing children and their parents. We had an attendance of 50 children to whom the plan of salvation was predicted, we had a closing with gifts and a party for them.

From this evangelization activity, a great number of children and young people made their decision for Christ, of which 29 were children. The second week of October we began the process of discipleship classes with them.
