A PROJECT READ THANKSGIVING

Last week, staff, volunteers and Project READ supporters came together again to host the annual Thanksgiving Food Distribution. Food, including turkey and side dishes, was supplied to 178 Project READ families to ensure everyone had a nourishing Thanksgiving dinner. Thank you to Project READ donors, community partners, volunteers, families and literacy advocates that help us fulfill our mission of a more literate community. To read more about how our community came together to make this Thanksgiving magical for everyone, go here.

GIVE TO THE LIBRARY FOUNDATION

Support RCLF on Giving Tuesday, November 28!

Giving Tuesday is almost here! Created in 2012 as a day that encourages people to do good, Giving Tuesday has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity. Everyone has something to contribute toward building a better world, whether it's some time, a donation or the power of a voice in your local community.

One way to join the movement is to support your Library by donating to the Redwood City Library Foundation. Your donation allows the Foundation to fund important Library initiatives like the Makerspace, Bridging the Digital Divide and Career Online High School. Celebrate Giving Tuesday on November 28 while sharing our mission of cultivating literacy, lifelong learning and community connections for the Library. To learn more about the impact of your donation, we encourage you to read the latest RCLF newsletter for inspiring library stories here.
