Damp greetings from Malawi
As torrential rains continue to drench the mountains where we live the world is an amazing green in every direction. The stems of Maize are sprouting up all around. It seems in this time of year every spare inch of Malawi has been dug up to grow maize. The fertilized maize is above waist height now and the unfertilized maize of the poor who have not been able to afford the needed inputs still growing but thinner and yellow. It is amazing to think that with so much growth everywhere people are going hungry. The hunger months are here again in Malawi, harvest will not arrive until maybe late March. These next months are critical moments for the poor. This is the time each year when we distribute to orphans and our  friends suffering with HIV in the rural areas. The first 3 tons we delivered to orphans on the east bank of the shire river just before the rains drenched this area making the muddy road to those villages impassable for vehicles like our distribution truck. Today a team is taking the next 3 tons to 60 orphans selected by 6 village chiefs as the children most in need. Please keep holding our distribution team in your prayers that they would be able to deliver to those most in need, for finance for fuel and the logistics of distribution, and for safety for the vehicles, pictures here is our 4x4 that was visiting a village where we will  distribute to HIV sufferers, it slipped from the road in the mud fortunately nobody was hurt badly, but we need to push the truck through in these same roads in a couple of weeks loaded with food for the hungry and sick.
Justice Discipleship Training School
(JDTS) This year has felt like God has poured the  cultural diversity of the nations into our base.  During the JDTS we had two more teams arrive to serve with us from South African and Finland this brought the nations represented on the base to 11 with people from 5 continents worshiping and serving together. We sent out our 21 students and staff to reach out in love and proclaim the gospel, our vision has been to send Malawians to the nations as missionaries, for the first time our outreach teams from the dts crossed the borders into Mozambique Zambia and northern Malawi. On Tuesday this week they returned rejoicing with testimonies of how they had seen Gods goodness and power in each location. For more testimonies and videos from the students visit our facebook.

Young people restored, empowered, released
I have been energized to see  the first malawian member of staff that joined us at YWAM Blantyre almost 3  years ago return from an intensive inductive bible study in South Africa. What excites me the most is to see him so strong and confident in God, I remember when I first met him in the orphanage, a young man with a desire to serve God but no opportunity or confidence to do so. After schools, lessons, experience and most of all, God at work to see him driving a team out in our 4x4 teaching them how to release the healing power of God and love the poor. I am so blessed to be part of His journey! Please pray for the new intake of young people and graduates from orphanages who have joined us with a passion to serve. Contend with us for breakthrough in their lives that God would take the poor and make them a crown of beauty to display His glory! Pray for the provision that we need to see this army of young warriors release. And pray that we keep giving the glory to God and not robbing it for ourselves so we can be entrusted with more of his kingdom faith and power!
The Heaven Declare the Glory of God, The vehicles display the name of our Lord
Since I was saved 10 years ago I have had a dream of writing boldly on my  van the name of the Lord that I love. It has always been a battle in my heart with fear and I have never managed to do until now. I love the text on the side of the minibus because it starts so many conversations about who Jesus is in peoples lives their saviour? Their healer? Their friend? By the time I send out our next update our big 7 ton truck coca cola delivery truck should have been painted ready for ministry in the villages. Watch this space!

Thank you !
All of this is possible because of your prayers and investment financially, Thank you for your ongoing support and that you keep standing with us in faith!
kingdom Investment Opportunities
With all this activity and growth, there are some real needs, needs for prayer and need for support. If you are looking for solid ways to invest in the growth of Gods kingdom look no further.
Maize Distribution
we are in the middle of distributing tons of maize to orphans and HIV sufferers. We have the maize but still need the funds for transportation.
New Minibus
With 3 teams on the base at the same time we had to get another car so we got a great minibus. We still need 3000 to cover the cost of this great vehicle.
Vehicles Service
With so many people out ministering the vehicles are taking a lot of punishment in the mud. The cost of service is considerable and some investment in this area means the gospel keeps pushing out to the inaccessible areas that we love to try and reach.
Translation work
The translation of 2 books is underway. We are translating is that really you God a great YWAM book and an amazing pastors hand book into chichewa. as with so many things we start in faith and hope God moves the hearts of our friends to join us in finding these kingdom growing projects!

And the lovely kids
As a family we are in a new season in a house of our own which we use for overflow not to house 25 young people. This is being good for the kids. Ben is a big story teller and loves to speak about how he uses his "hooker truck" to execute rescues for trapped cars in the mud just like his dad. He is 2 days at preschool and loves art and being read so many stories. Beth is close to walking and calls us Da = daddy and Be = Ben and Yaeye = Mummy
Transformation in the village & city
The central base in Blantyre we have been bursting at the seams over the past months with 28 staff and volunteers, 15 students, 7+ children and a baby on the way, 18 visitors coming to minister with us and another 7 on the way. It is impossible to hold in all this raw life and young passion and vision, we are breaking open in every direction and life and fruit spilling out. Each of the young people on staff or visiting we encourage to grow vision and find the passions of their hearts. Our desire and focus is to give space for them and help them learn to express these passions. This means we have some amazingly diverse and new ministries happening that are bigger and broarder in their scope than we would dream up. Like a Kingdom Business conference we ran which was the passion of an amazing Korean couple that visited to serve with us last month, seeing the impact in the city was powerful and showed us the power of a diverse team working together.

We are Excited to be home soon and looking forward to seeing friends and family. June 6 will be here tomorrow we know so we want to start to plan soon. This time we will be back for just 6 weeks as so many things on the base are growing and we cant be away too long at the moment. We will be at a few churches and have some times to see you we hope! looking forward to it a lot! please keep standing with us in prayer. you are so appreciated!

With Love

Daniel Suzy Ben & Beth
