2023 State of Downtown Report |
Each year, Downtown Vision tracks and analyzes Downtown’s performance in key indicators of urban revitalization, such as development and investment, residential demand, office market and employment base, transportation enhancements and tourism health to tell the story of Downtown Jacksonville, benchmark trends and support investment efforts.
The 2023 State of Downtown Report is an 18-month recap of progress and development in Downtown Jacksonville from January 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, published by Downtown Vision in October 2023.
Corner Lot has four prominent developments that are helping put over 700 heads in residential beds Downtown by the Summer of 2025. Artea at Southbank (pictured above), Johnson Commons, and Jones on Hogan are featured in the report. Corner on Main is just outside of the Downtown districts in historic Springfield. Corner Lot is also bringing one of three new hotels that are currently under construction, in the Home2 Suites by Hilton in Brooklyn, featuring The Players Grille.

First Coast Real Estate Partners, a private real estate partnership formed by a team of experienced real estate and financial professionals to develop a portfolio of ground-up, multifamily communities in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida, officially launched its website this month. |

In 2023, Corner Lot helped launch First Coast Real Estate Partners, a premier ground-up multifamily platform, tailored to investors passionate about the growth of Jacksonville's First Coast. The Partnership seeks to foster quality, sustainable development for future businesses and residents, expand the markets of North Florida with innovative vision and leadership, and foster a foundation of long-term partnerships in investment, development, management, and financing.

Giving back to our local communities and organizations taking Jax to the Max is one of the tenants at Corner Lot. This month, we were honored to help three local groups working in different areas. Both the Corner Lot and Fun To Watch teams got to see firsthand the difference they are making. |

We attended the annual JAZMYN Coming Out Day Breakfast, the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation 'Champions for Children' Gala and the Sulbacher Center's 'Transformations' fundraiser. Great work by all of those organizations and the people they are helping. |

Meet our Team: Erich Geisler, Senior Project Manager |
|
Born in Zumbrota, Minnesota, and raised in Jacksonville, Erich Geisler began his career in Information Systems and IT shortly after graduating from Florida State University. Prior to joining the workforce, Erich spent a year abroad in Florence, Italy in 2005. In 2006, he began working for a Jacksonville-based sports-focused IT company as a project manager, focusing on operations and development of stats-focused information systems.
Primarily focused on tennis and golf, Erich led new software deployment projects delivering custom scoring and display systems for broadcasters, promoters, sports organizations, and leagues. Eventually, that role evolved into a leadership position managing an operations and deployment team, continuing large-scale development rollouts, and providing a pathway and vision for future growth within the industry. Erich has always been passionate about development, the growth of Jacksonville, and finding creative solutions to challenging projects. When not at work, Erich enjoys spending time with his wife, Samantha, and their two children Emma and Henry. You can find them at the beach, the park, or traveling to Minnesota or Colorado to visit family.
