On the Tee: Corner Lot Acquires Glen Kernan Golf & Country Club
It's no secret the Corner Lot Team LOVES golf.

Like...we're kinda obsessed with it. So, we figured, why not buy and redevelop one of the best clubs in town?

Corner Lot has partnered with Hampton Golf to acquire Glen Kernan Golf & Country Club to create an ultra-exclusive experience for both residents and some select invitation-only members.

The project will see a complete renovation and expansion of the clubhouse, as well as the golf course, which will be overseen by 17-time PGA TOUR champion and 2003 U.S. Open Champion, Jim Furyk. 2022 Britsh Open Champion, Cam Smith, is also part of the project.

“I’ve had the pleasure of becoming friends with Cam and Jim over the past couple of years,” wrote Andy Allen, CEO of Corner Lot. “When this opportunity came up, I wanted to put a team and partnership in place with an aligned vision for a golf club that will have a greater impact on our community by bringing a golf experience second to none in Jacksonville. Corner Lot’s mission is to build up our city through smart development and partnerships. This one may take the cake.”

Glen Kernan's athletic center will also be overhauled during the development. Both the facilities and the golf course are shut down until reopening in 2025.

Welcome to Our New Home
Just over 18 months after acquiring the building which now bears the company name, Corner Lot is calling Corner Lot Center, home.

The firm moved into its new digs on the 6th floor this month.

Our 26-person team now has one central location after splitting space in the historic Goodwin and River Houses on Goodwin Street. A big thank you to our friends at Avant Construction Group for a beautfiul renovation. It's still a work in progress but we invite our friends, partners and vendors to stop by for a tour.

We might even take you upstairs on the rooftop bar at River & Post.
Corner Lot Cares
Corner Lot isn't just helping build our local communities. We also help support other organizations that are making Jacksonville and Northeast Florida a better place to live.

Last year, we were proud to sponsor the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation's annual gala, and this month we had the opportunity to visit the two-block center in the city's Mid-Westside. The Foundation gives students from elementary to high school a place to study, play and experience new adventures after school. It also helps our local youth achieve scholarships to college and gain important life skills.

Meet our Team: Michael Blevins, Senior Project Manager
A Jacksonville native, Michael graduated with honors from the University of North Florida.

He began his career in real estate working for a home flipping company. After learning more about the real estate industry, he discovered his true passion was in the development field and joined Corner Lot in 2021. Michael manages various aspects of Corner Lot’s project development process including due diligence, governmental permitting, and consultant management.

In his down-time, he enjoys surf fishing, physical fitness, and spending time with family and friends.
