AI Thought Leader Babar Bhatti To Keynote Monthly Luncheon

Join us for expert analysis of the wide-ranging applications and effects the growing use of artificial intelligence will have on our lives and society on Thursday, Sept. 14.

"How AI Is Changing The World" is part of our monthly luncheon series, presented by the City of Coppell, which features subject matter experts on timely topics.

Our keynote speaker will be Babar Bhatti, an AI thought leader, public speaker and author. Babar is a Principal Data and AI Customer Success Manager at IBM. He is co-founder and EVP of Dallas AI, a meetup group of over 4500 AI professionals. He is a hands-on practitioner of Machine Learning and holds certifications for cloud, data and machine learning technologies. He shares his perspective on practical applications of AI and ML on Medium.

This event will be held at Dallas College Coppell Center with catering from Hard Eight BBQ.

The City of Coppell held a ceremony this morning at Town Center to honor and remember the lives lost on this day 22 years ago. The event featured Coppell Fire and Police Color Guards, along with the Fire Department Bagpipe and Drum Corps. Public safety personnel, city staff and volunteers read the names of first responders killed during the terrorist attack.

Silver Line Construction Prompts Road Closure

MacArthur Boulevard will be fully closed from 6 am on Friday, Sept. 15 to 3 pm on Monday, Sept. 18 to allow DART crews to perform work at the railroad crossing. Both north- and southbound traffic will be detoured around the construction zone, and motorists should utilize Mockingbird Lane, Riverchase Drive and Fairway Drive.
