Coppell-Based Nonprofit Provides Prenatal Vitamins Across Texas & Georgia

The Vitamin Bridge is a Coppell-based nonprofit dedicated to providing prenatal vitamins to nonprofit organizations serving under-resourced, moms-to be. While initially focused on the DFW area, The Vitamin Bridge now donates prenatal vitamins across Texas and Georgia. It has reached more than 70,000 women (and their babies) and will cross 100,000 served in 2024.

The Vitamin Bridge was founded in 2019 by Tom and Martha Day, 40-year Coppell residents, and is funded by corporate, foundation and individual donors. The Vitamin Bridge has received GuideStar’s Platinum Seal of Transparency, its highest rating.

Veterans Appreciation Luncheon Speaker To Share Insights From His Work With Service Men & Women

Robert Pinholt, co-founder and CEO of Claymore Operations, will keynote our Monthly Luncheon Series on Thursday, November 9. Pinholt spent five and a half years as an enlisted infantryman in the United States Army. He spent 16 months fighting on the front lines in Afghanistan with the famed Outlaw Platoon of the 10th Mountain Infantry Division. His combat experiences were chronicled in The New York Times best seller "Outlaw Platoon" by Sean Parnell. He will offer his unique perspective and in-depth knowledge of what it means to prepare U.S. active-duty military to succeed in life beyond service to their country.
