Heartbeat Bill Action ALERT

Ask Senate to Call for Immediate Vote

June 13, 2012 - It has been nearly a year since the Ohio House of Representatives passed H.B. 125, Ohio's Human Heartbeat Protection Act ("Heartbeat Bill"). However, despite overwhelming citizen support and action, the Ohio Senate has yet to vote on this bill.

Governor John Kasich has a good record of supporting pro-life legislation.   After he signed the late term abortion ban in July of last year, Governor Kasich's spokesman Rob Nichols told the press,  "The governor is pro-life, has been pro-life throughout his career and believes strongly in the sanctity of human life."

The time has come to ask Governor Kasich to help move the Heartbeat Bill through the Senate.

PLEASE CONTACT THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE TODAY and respectfully request:

"Governor Kasich, please encourage Ohio's Senators to call for an immediate vote on H.B. 125, Ohio's Heartbeat Bill, to protect babies with beating hearts from abortion. After a year's delay, it's time for the Senate to act."
