Happy Back to School Week!

We are thrilled to share the latest updates on our ongoing construction activities. Our team has been working diligently to ensure that every aspect of our project is progressing smoothly and on schedule. Here’s a detailed look at what has been happening on site:

1. Loading Planting Areas:

Our exterior spaces are coming to life as we begin loading the planting areas with fresh soil and preparing for the landscaping phase. This step sets the stage for new greenery that will enhance the beauty of the school grounds and provide inviting outdoor spaces for students and staff.

2. Installing Ceiling Tiles:

Inside the school, ceiling tiles are being installed across classrooms and common areas. These tiles help with soundproofing and insulation while giving the interior a polished and finished look. As the ceiling work progresses, the rooms are taking on a fresh, modern feel.

3. Millwork:

Beautiful custom woodwork is being installed throughout the building. From cabinets to shelving, this millwork will not only provide practical storage solutions but also add a touch of craftsmanship and warmth to the classrooms and hallways.

4. Flooring Installation:

New flooring is being laid throughout the school, transforming classrooms, hallways, and other spaces. The updated floors will be durable, safe, and easy to maintain, making them perfect for our busy school environment.

5. Ceramic Wall Tile:

In restrooms and specialized areas, ceramic wall tile is being installed. These tiles not only add a clean, modern look but are also highly durable and easy to maintain, making them ideal for high-traffic spaces.

6. Electrical Finishes:

The electrical systems are nearing completion with the installation of electrical finishes like outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures. Once these are fully in place, the school will be powered up and ready for the next phase of work.

7. Mechanical Finishes:

Final mechanical system installations are underway. These include important elements like HVAC controls, air ducts, and other mechanical components that will ensure the school’s temperature is comfortable and well-regulated throughout the year.

8. Plumbing Finishes:

Plumbing work is also progressing, with the final fixtures like sinks, toilets, and water fountains being installed. These essential elements are vital to ensuring the school’s facilities are fully functional and ready for use.

9. Starting Interior VRFs (Variable Refrigerant Flow Systems):

Our state-of-the-art Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems are now being started. These energy-efficient HVAC systems will allow us to better control the heating and cooling throughout the building, ensuring a comfortable environment for students and staff year-round.

10. Parapet Metal Caps:

Outside, the finishing touches are being made to the building’s parapet with the installation of metal caps. These caps not only protect the structure from weather elements but also add a sleek, modern design feature to the exterior.

The project is going really well and we are getting closer and closer to substantial completion.
