Connecting People

Dear Friends,

What an incredible summer it has been serving Bastrop County! Our community has been bustling with fantastic BCC events in every precinct. We are truly fortunate to live in such a caring and compassionate area, where there is a deep commitment to ending hunger and raising awareness about the resources available right here in our community.

It's essential to recognize the importance of supporting each other and the powerful impact of our collaborations with community partners. These events, each catering to different demographics, have enriched our community and exemplified our dedication to diversity and inclusion. We have several collaboration opportunities available this month, and we warmly invite you to volunteer.

If you haven't yet joined a coalition, our team is ready to help you connect with an initiative that resonates with you. This newsletter provides insights into the highlights of the past month and offers a preview of what's ahead. We encourage you to share information about the upcoming events within your networks!

Thank you for your ongoing support!

Best regard,

Partnering with Community Action, these classes are specifically designed for our employees to better support Spanish-speaking individuals in their mental health and well-being by equipping us with essential language skills.
