2023 State of the City

The 2023 State of the City "Murrieta: Where We Put Community First!" with Mayor Dr. Lisa Deforest will be held on Thursday, June 15th at the Murrieta Hot Springs Resort.

Tickets for the VIP reception proceeding the Mayor's address from 5:30-6:30pm are available for $45 per person, registration is required.

The Mayor's address is free & open to the public, starting at 7pm.

2023 Restaurant Resilience Grants Soon to be Available for Central and Southern California Independent Restaurants

SoCalGas’ $1 million donation to California Restaurant Foundation to support qualifying restaurants with $5,000 grants; applications open April 15 to May 7


SoCalGas has partnered with the California Restaurant Foundation for the 3rd consecutive year in support of the Restaurant Resilience program to provide $5,000 grants to independently-owned restaurants.


Resilience Fund applications can be found at www.restaurantscare.org/resilience. Grants will be available to all California-based restaurant owners located in the SoCalGas’s service areas that have less than five units and less than $3 million in revenue. Priority will be given to restaurants who have yet to receive a grant; however, previous recipients are encouraged to re-apply.

Riverside County MADE

Riverside County MADE is aimed at assisting Riverside County start-up product-based businesses with entering the marketplace to validate their concepts. Participants will discover the core concepts to create a successful business. Over six weeks, you will learn about planning, marketing, financing, and how to make your business dreams a reality.

Small Business Readiness for Resiliency Program

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and FedEx have teamed up to create the Small Business Readiness for Resiliency (R4R) Program. This program helps small businesses prepare for a disaster and offers immediate relief funding for those prepared businesses when a disaster strikes their region. More than 100 grants of $5,000 each are expected to be distributed between June 2022 and May 2023.

Riverside County Business Assistance NOW Program

Through the Business Assistance NOW Program, the County of Riverside's Economic Development business support team will work closely with the County's Ombudsman to provide a clear path to navigating Transportation Land Management Agency's Planning and Building and Safety departments to get your business established and growing within Riverside County.

Microbusiness COVID-19 Relief Grant Program

The Riverside County Office of Economic Development is pleased to announce that microbusinesses negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, in accordance with specified criteria, may apply for a $2,500 grant.

The intent of the Riverside County Microbusiness COVID-19 Relief Grant Program is to provide relief to the hardest to reach microbusinesses and entrepreneurs located throughout the county.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for qualifying microbusinesses.
