Message from Your Principal and Assistant Principal

Dear Connect HS Families,

By now you should have heard about our upcoming Exhibition Nights!!  Exhibition is one of the Da Vinci Schools signature practices that students take part in.  We are excited and proud to allow students to open our school and share what they have been working on this semester with their classmates and teachers. 

Exhibition will be held on Thursday, December 8th from 6-8 PM for 10 - 12th graders on the Connect High campus. Our 9th grade Exhibition will be held at the Blackbox Theater located at 201 N. Douglas on December 9th from 5-8 PM.   

Students are expected to stay the entire night.  Students and families do not have to attend both nights, just their grade level night. We also ask students to dress professionally for this event.

Campus Clean Up with Community Service Club

The community service club is looking for volunteers to help clean up the campus. Students will be tasked with picking up trash, dusting, and cleaning countertops. This will take place on December 5th and December 9th organized in Learning Space 3. To account for your participation students will receive a ticket from designated teachers. Learning Logs

Learning Log #2 is due on December 13th.  Please remind your students to write down what they do for school each day, even ask to see their learning logs.

Office Hours Available

Office hours are times your student can meet with teachers outside of their on-campus class.  When students go to college they will have the option to meet with their professors during their office hours.  We are teaching our students agency and the ability to advocate for themselves by scheduling and attending these meetings with their teachers.

COVID reminders

Please report all positive cases to School Nurse Emily Green:

egreen@davincischools.org. 

Close contacts should wear a mask indoors for 10 days from exposure. Contacts do NOT have to quarantine at home. 

 COVID testing is available at school. 

• Rapid covid tests are available at school sites before school and during lunch, no appt needed. Students, please pre-register for testing here. It is a rapid test and results are available 15 minutes later. 
• Home Tests are available at school sites during school hours, please request from the health office/front office.
