STORIES

Halloween: Tips for Kids with Special Needs
Halloween is a great way to get out in the community and meet your neighbours. And while a holiday that involves dressing up and getting candy is a dream come true for many children, it can pose some challenges for children with sensory issues, physical challenges, restricted diets or other special needs.

Halloween: 20 Non-Edible Treats to be Inclusive
To make sure that you are including all kids when they come to your door this October 31st, you can keep a supply of non-edible items that can all be found at your local dollar or party supply store. Helping to support kids with special needs encourages an inclusive environment and helps to raise awareness of kids who may have feeding difficulty and allergies.

Halloween: Finding the Right Costume for Your Child
Easter Seals shares ideas for children using mobility devices and tips to help with the sensory issues associated with this fun holiday.
