Connect, Learn, Enjoy @ Your Library

New & Noteworthy

Message from Library Director Debra Rhodes Gibson

Expanding Our Reach @ Your Library

SJCPLS libraries are vibrant, busy places that accommodate a wide array of program opportunities and space to meet all our users' needs. The library system's growth in program attendance during the first six months of 2024 is 125% over the entire year's attendance during 2023! The current space for innovation and learning is inadequate within SJCPLS compared to other similar-sized library systems; program staff continuously compete for space, often preventing other programs and events from happening in our meeting rooms; and the current buildings no longer meet the demands of a growing St. Johns County.
