In this newsletter we hope you find information that is relevant to you. We also share in person events where you can meet local families of kids with special needs. Connect is distributed monthly. The CTN Annual Report for 2016-17 is Here!
While conceptualizing themes for our annual report, one word continuously came up when collaborating with our team - the notion of "connection" and being "connected." This year we continued to focus on connecting with our children, youth and families, our partners, our communities and our staff. 


Make Every Move Count - New Summer Park Event Series
Join us this summer for a family event series in partnership with families and therapists in Newmarket and Barrie. Have some fun while learning how to embed therapy in everyday play.

Amina's Story: My First Year at Post-Secondary School
Amina is a 2016  Ontario Association of Rehabilitation Services (OACRS) Scholarship recipient and a student in the Social Services Work program at Seneca College. She shares her experience and tips for students entering post-secondary in the fall.

Bringing Therapy to the Park
Outdoor play and exposure to park settings can be intimidating for some families, especially for those families that have children with special needs. Here are some tips for your own family visit to the park.
