NEWS

CTN's Visit with the Honourable Michael Coteau
CTN welcomed a visit from the Honourable Michael Coteau, Minister of Children and Youth Services, Deputy Minister Nancy Matthews, and other members of his team, at the Richmond Hill site. Service providers, staff, network partners and parents had the opportunity to share information about the network model, the shared electronic record and challenges facing the system and families. The Minister encouraged a continuation of this dialogue and was appreciative of the painting he received from 12 year old CTN client, Ashley.

Happy Campers Enjoyed a Week of Skill-Building
Last month, CTN and its partners at Closing the Gap Healthcare, hosted a one week "Happy Hands modified constraint induced movement therapy (mCIMT) camp" for six children ages five to nine with hemiplegia cerebral palsy. The goal of mCIMT is for children to build motor skills in their affected hand and arm.
