NEW ORLEANS, LA – Congressman Troy A. Carter, Sr. (D-LA) issued the following statement on Hurricane Francine recovery:


“President Biden has signed the disaster declaration, making federal resources available for our response to Hurricane Francine. The FEMA Administrator will be on the ground in Louisiana to assess the damage firsthand and expedite the deployment of necessary resources.


“Please rest assured that I stand ready to assist in every way possible to ensure that our communities receive the support they need.”
