In order to position us to have a smooth transition back to the school building when health conditions allow CPS to make that decision, Curie will continue to use our regular class schedule during distance learning (see below). Students will either have a 1-8 (7:30a-2:45p) or a 2-9 (8:25a-3:40p) schedule. Students will be required to join a Google Meet with their video on for each class period they have daily.
Due to the changing circumstances this summer, student schedules are still being finalized. We will notify students and families when schedules are live in Aspen to view. We will also be creating a school-wide directory with the information for Google Classrooms for all of our classes.
Remember that orientation sessions will be viewable on youtube the week of August 31st. These sessions will help you understand how to use the Google platforms (like Meet, Classroom, GMail) to engage in your classes this year.
