Hear what others have to say about attending this seminar

Provides a great summary of the main food groups within the Chicago market, the networking is a plus. - Choudhry Muzaffar MRICS, MSRE,CRA

I consider this to be a “must attend” event each year. It provides a unique opportunity to hear from big-name industry experts who are in the market, doing deals, talking to buyers, sellers, investors and developers. With the broad range of topics covered, it provides an outstanding overview of the latest trends in the Chicago MSA market. Definitely a great use of time and it even provides continuing ed credit! - Gail Lissner, SRA, CRE

I look forward to attending the Conditions seminar each year as it is the most comprehensive and relevant event to gauge the ever changing conditions in the Chicago market. The quality of content and speakers is always top notch! - Anthony Uzemack

I think the important issue is that the 2020 Covid impact is generally over.   So how does that leave the current real estate market?  Is is back to 2019 or has the impact seriously affected ever sector of the real estate market so that is will never return to what is was?   If so, what markets are most affected and least in so far as sales, lease rates and vacancy rates are concerned.    I would hope the experts can shed light on real estate in 2024 and onward. - Audrey Davis, MAI

The Chicago Chapter of AI annual presentation of the "Conditions of the Chicago Real Estate Market" has been the most informative seminar because of the wide variety of speakers from the various segments of the real estate industry.

It has provided a one-on-one opportunity for attendees to ask questions of the speakers, as well as other fellow members and guests, especially during these most unusual times in the real estate marketplace. I look forward to attending again and seeing all of our colleagues. - Bud Kerwin, MAI

I am delighted to learn the chapter is planning a 2024 update seminar of the Chicago Real Estate Market. Having attended this seminar last year and numerous seminars in the past, I highly recommend all appraisers to attend and learn recent developments in market conditions for both residential and commercial properties. Looking forward to attending this year's event. - Anthony J. Uzemack MAI, AI-GRS

This seminar advances two excellent points of view. One is that you get to hear what is going on in our own marketplace from the brokers and other real estate professionals working in this space. The second is that you get to compare what you already know about this marketplace and the current troubles, with what they are telling you about the very same marketplace. Then, one can start to reformulate one's base knowledge to make more informed judgments and decisions that eventually will form the basis of one's valuations when working in these spaces. Competency is knowing what is influencing value. - John O’Dwyer, MAI, MRICS, AI-GRS
