Library Closed July 4

The Library will be closed July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

See our always available online resources here!

The Library is open during construction on Elizabeth Lake Road!

See updates from the Oakland County Road Commission here.

Do you have a skill or talent you'd like to share? Are you the person your neighbors come to for help? White Lake Township Library needs you!

This fall we will be hosting our first ever Neighbor Cafe on Saturday, September 21. The Neighbor Cafe will be an opportunity for members of our community to share what they're best at with their neighbors. Could you teach someone to sew on a button, say a few phrases in another language, or help them put together a resume? If you are interested in volunteering at this event please respond to programs@whitelakelibrary.org by July 6.

Check out one of our Storytime Kits! Inside you will find everything you need to have your own storytime at home, including read-aloud books and fun learning activities.

Sponsored by Vibe Credit Union.

Friends' Art Wall

Check out the Friends' Local Artists display above the ongoing book sale cart!

Our July featured artist is Gaylene Petcu.

After working in the Midwest as an illustrator for twenty-six years, her transition to painting mountain landscapes and flowers was a welcome change. Her oil and pastel paintings have been exhibited in several galleries in western North Carolina.

If you are an artist and would like the opportunity to exhibit your work, submit an application to friends@whitelakelibrary.org.
