For this reason, Compassion Creates Change™, WOW NOW, and AMOS Health and Hope have teamed-up to provide anti-parasite treatments to vulnerable populations, especially children in extreme need in Nicaragua. Through collective impact, these partners will work together in 2014-2015 to increase the total impact of health services to underserved, rural communities and to provide anti-parasite treatment (albendazole) to nearly 25,000 people. Approximately 100,000 treatments will be rendered over the next two years in more than 40 communities. The albendazole tablets are chewable and flavored - and the children think it's fun when it "turns their tongues pink."
