Old guard of St. Paul's historic W. 7th neighborhood seeks to connect with newer residents

Long-time residents of Saint Paul's West 7th neighborhood have seen beloved institutions decline and close as the community has become trendier. In his May 25 Star Tribune article, reporter James Walsh explored what's happening in this historic neighborhood and how residents are working to build community that embraces both the old and the new. He tapped Minnesota Compass for data to show the neighborhood is growing, and at a faster rate than Saint Paul as a whole.
