🌲 Tree Sale: Purchase a new tree at the annual Broomfield Parks, Recreation, and Senior Services tree sale. Broomfield Parks/Forestry will offer ten different species of trees that do well along the front range of Colorado. These trees are available to the Broomfield residents and CCOB employees, limit of two trees per household. Visit the Tree Information page for more details and to purchase your tree.
📖 High School Finals Study Space: High school students, do you need a place to prep for your finals? The Group Study Room will be reserved for students in grades 9–12, 4–8:45 p.m., Monday through Thursday, April 15 through May 23. No reservation needed, just check in with the second floor desk to use the room.
🕺 Alternative Prom: Get ready to party after hours at the Broomfield Library for this unique Prom Alternative! This year's theme, "NO Theme, because it is more ALT" was selected by the Library's Teen Ambassador Board. Gather your friends, dance your heart out, have snacks, play games and show off your moves. Submit your song requests.
📰 Spring Paper Shred Event: Protect your identity while securely destroying your confidential items such as tax, medical and bank documents for free at the Spring Shred-It event. Broomfield residents can shred a maximum of three boxes of paperwork at the Shred-It event Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Shred-It will also take up to three 32-gallon trash bags of already shredded paper. In addition to doing their part to help strengthen families, all Coloradans are encouraged to call the CO4Kids Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline (1-844-CO-4-KIDS or 844-264-5437) if they are concerned a child may be experiencing abuse or neglect.

Broomfield middle schoolers can access The Paul Derda Recreation Center and Broomfield Community Center for FREE after school! Show your Broomfield middle school I.D. for entry Monday through Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. (and stay as long as you’d like!).
