Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Happy Pride Month! We'll always fight for the rights, acceptance, and dignity of LGBTQ+ New Yorkers. New York has always been a haven for diversity and the fight for equality. This Pride Month, we celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and are more determined than ever to defend their hard-won rights from those who would otherwise turn back the clock.

It was a pleasure and point of great pride to honor 22 women who live or work on the Upper East Side, Yorkville and Roosevelt Island at our Tenth Annual Women of Distinction Ceremony at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Zuckerman Auditorium.

This weekend, our team provided mobile constituent services at the First Avenue Street fair while I joined the East 86 Street Association’s clean team to lend a hand in keeping our neighborhood clean and safe for all to enjoy.

More on our work in the district and in Albany is enclosed in this community update. Please join us for any of the upcoming events our office is pleased to sponsor:
