Strategic Planning Survey

The BSD is developing a strategic plan and wants to know how students, parents, and staff perceive the district’s current performance in various areas and what they think the district should prioritize moving forward. Your responses will help BSD understand your needs so we can best serve you.

The purpose of the survey will be to get feedback in order to remain committed to an inclusive, transparent strategic planning process. If you have any questions, please contact info@brunswicksd.org

District Update Regarding Status of Lead

Water Sampling Results

Dear Staff and Families:

This letter is to inform you that we received final results from the school lead sampling in our drinking and cooking water. This testing is part of LD 153 - An Act to Strengthen Testing for Lead in School Drinking Water. The legislation mandates all schools test their drinking and cooking water for the presence of lead.

We have been notified that all of our schools (KFS, HBS, BJHS, BHS) have passed the standards with the exception of a BHS Science Lab Sink, Room 235 and the BHS Water Fountains. The Fountains will remain shut off until further notice.

You can find all of our laboratory reports on our District website under Facilities Projects https://www.brunswicksd.org/page/facilities-projects. If you have any questions about testing in our schools please contact Scott Smith, Director of Facilities, Grounds and Food Service, at 207- 319-1906.

Below you will find the Public Notice for the schools we have received reports on thus far:

Sincerely,

Scott Smith
