WinterFEST
January 28 & 29
| |
|
Just 8 days away from Newton Community Pride's WinterFEST! We cannot wait for you to join us at the Hyde Community Center on Saturday, January 28 starting at 5:30 pm for the Soup Social, the Eli Cash Band, and stop by the traveling and illuminated art exhibit, Brighter Ignited! This was designed by artist Tova Speter, who was also one of NCP's #SitandSoar2022 artists.
On Sunday, January 29 at 10:00 am, take a guided family-friendly & dog-friendly morning winter walk with the Newton Conservators and Olaf along the 1.5-mile trail at Cold Spring Park and then head over to Newton Centre from 12 - 4:00 pm and meet Elsa and Olaf from Frozen, watch a live ice sculpture carving, and enjoy several entertaining performances from local groups - and of course hot chocolate! If you need to warm up or grab a bite to eat, be sure to visit any of the local restaurants and merchants.
