Original Shellcrafters!

We are looking to teach beginners as well as learn new skills from others.

If you would like to share, and make new friends, please stop in on Monday from 10AM-1PM.

We would like to start teaching more programs during the week beginning in October. We do shell jewelry, critters, painted shells, resin projects, ornaments, floral arrangements, and much much more.

Visit the original Shell Crafting group from the islands. See the oversized Sailor’s Valentine that is in the lobby created by Shell Crafters and Shell Club participants several years ago.

Last week was a very exciting time when the concrete flowable fill was being poured in the Historical Founders Room at The Sanibel Community House! What a memorable next step to Phase 3—the final phase to getting The Island Gathering Place, since 1927, your Sanibel Community House ready for a complete reopening in October, which is just a few months away! It’s incredibly rewarding to see all of the progress. And now, we are moving onward and forward and can't wait to see you again! We couldn't have accomplished any of this without your help, thank you to everyone involved!

We are very pleased to announce that both Rotary Club of Sanibel & Captiva and the Sanibel-Captiva Kiwanis Club are holding their weekly meetings at the Sanibel Community House.

Kiwanis Club meetings are held every Tuesday morning.

Rotary Club meetings are held every Friday morning.
