The Cranberry Township Farmers Market now accepts SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits with a food assistance match! The Market has also partnered with the Food Assistance Match (FAM) Program - which is a nonprofit entity with the goal of increasing access to fresh, healthy food for those in need.

Facilitating fun while forming future firefighters is the goal of the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company’s Fire Cadet Academy. Set for July 24-28, the program is open to boys and girls ages 14-18 who want to one day become firefighters – or just want to know more about the job.
The Miracle League of Southwestern Pennsylvania will celebrate its achievements on Saturday, July 29 with an All-Star Baseball Game at the Pirates Charities Miracle League Field at the UPMC Passavant Sportsplex at Graham Park in Cranberry Township.

Bill was playing pickleball with friends when he felt tightness in his chest and lightheadedness. He was experiencing a heart attack and cardiac arrest. The Gibsonia resident’s life was saved thanks to his friends, paramedics, UPMC Passavant Emergency Department staff, and experts from the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute.
