MEPTO's favorite FUNdraiser is back! This year's event will be held on April 26th from 5-8 pm at Medway High School. All McGovern and Memorial students are welcome to enjoy an ice cream sundae while we raffle off various theme baskets compiled by each classroom! Raffle Tickets will be 50 cents each! We will sell tickets at the event, but all sales will close by 6:30 pm so we can begin pulling winners at 7:00! Bring a donation to the event for the Medway Food Pantry to earn extra tickets!! Medway Middle School's Performing Arts Department presents Frozen Jr., the musical. Performances are scheduled on April 5 at 7:30 pm and April 6 at 2:00 pm & 7:30 pm. Tickets are also available at the door.

Nominations for the Burke/Memorial School Plaque are open. Do you know someone who has devoted themselves to service and volunteerism and has made Medway schools/town life better for those who follow? Residents, past or present, who have sacrificed their lives or freedom in service to their country, either as members of the military or as civilians contributing to military or peace efforts, may also be nominated.

Kindergarten registration is open for the 2024-2025 school year. 2024-2025 kindergarten students must be five years old by August 31, 2024. Registration information will be available in three locations: 1) online, 2). Office of the Superintendent at 45 Holliston St., and 3). Office of the McGovern School at 9 Lovering St.

What is the #buildingbrightbrains campaign about? It is a series of initiatives to share messages with parents and adolescents that brains continue to develop until age 25, and choices made during youth can change the brain's structure for better or worse. The next SUPMedway Friday Night Done Right event is on April 26th in the Medway Middle School Old Gym (location change) from 6-8 pm. This night's main attraction will be a laser tag tournament. We have also added an end-of-the-school-year field trip! If a student has attended at least 3 Friday Night Done Right events, they will be eligible to participate in a field trip to Supercharged on May 31st, free of cost.

Medway Cultural Council - MEDCC presents, I'll Be There For You on May 1 at 6:30 pm at the Medway High School auditorium. This prevention play and talk back are free - no tickets necessary!

This Saturday, April 6, is the Lions Club's Bottle and Can Drive! Place your redeemable bottles and cans at the end of your driveway by 8:30 a.m. Thanks to all the Medway Lions volunteers who transform these bottles and cans into community charitable giving.

The deadline has passed to license/renew your dog (March 31, 2024). However, we offer a 15-day grace period until April 15. After that, a $50.00 late fee will be applied per dog. Please obtain a license in person at the Town Clerk's Office.

The Sunshine Group is hiring for Summer 2024 and is seeking camp counselors available to work the program dates of Tuesday, July 9 - Friday, August 16. Staff hours are 8:00 am-1:00 pm Tuesdays - Fridays. For more information please reach out to Jessica Peck, Director at 978-790-9779.

Medway Pride Day is right around the corner! This annual community event brings residents, businesses, and organizations together to show pride in the Town of Medway. Connecting with neighbors and learning about all Medway offers is a fantastic opportunity.

Medway Pride Day will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 10:00 am to 2:00 p.m. at the Medway Middle School (45 Holliston Street). In the event of severe weather, Medway Pride Day will be canceled.

All are welcome to gather on May 31, 2024, to participate in raising the pride flag at Choate Park. The schedule is as follows:6:00 pm. flag raising on Rte. 109 in front of Choate Park.6:30-8:30 pm. festivities at the Choate Park pavilion.

Medway's 11th annual Clean Sweep is scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 8:00 to 11:00 am. 

Rally a team for Clean Sweep and make Medway sparkle! Join us in our efforts to keep our community clean and pristine. Together, we can make a big difference.

The Medway Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale on May 18 at 9:00 am. Stop by the Medway Recycling Center at 46 Broad Street and support the Garden Club with your purchase.

Join the Medway Fire Department on Thursday, April 11, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at PJ's Smoke N Grille. Medway Firefighters will assist PJ's staff by serving delicious food while raising money for autism. All money raised will benefit the Flutie Foundation .

The Town of Medway Parks and Recreation Department is looking for an experienced, patient, knowledgeable, and energetic staff member to serve as the Director of the Medway Teen Venture Camp. Must be available for the four weeks of Teen Venture (July 15 – August 9th), Monday – Friday, 8:45 am-3:15 pm.

MEDWAY PUBLIC LIBRARY

Join us at the library the week of April 8-13. We have toddler jam, homeschool hangout, Arduino, read the rainbow, toddler story time, move, groove, & learn dance party, and more!

This free program serves homebound Medway residents of retirement or nursing facilities and individual homebound Medway residents of all ages. A librarian will coordinate the delivery of books and other circulating library items. Monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly delivery schedules will be arranged for participants. MEDWAY COUNCIL ON AGING

The Town of Medway seeks a Part-time Outreach Coordinator to provide professional and direct social services to the community's senior citizen population. Questions, please reach out to Cheryl Houle, HR Coordinator at choule@townofmedway.org.
