Wednesday 14th September 

Opening of  New Photography Exhibition with Live Jazz from Frankly Jazz

Mark Sunderland is a landscape and travel photographer based in North Yorkshire. His work has been widely published, and highly commended in the BG Wildlife Photographer of The Year Competition. "Landscape Expressions" a selection of abstract and traditional landscape images from in and around the Yorkshire Dales will be showing at Lockwoods until March 2012. Mark will be at the Champagne and Canap� reception to talk about his work.

Thursday 29th September 

Tapas Night

You will be offered a delicious selection of dishes with a Spanish theme from our specially prepared set menu. Simon Jackson of Yorkshire Vintners will be on hand to help with a perfect wine match, and Mark Ryan from Great Northern Wines will do a sherry tasting at the end of the evening.

Wednesday 19th October 

Steak & Cheese Night

 Try a delicious new cut of steak, or a selection of fabulous cuts, cooked to your liking. Ryan Atkinson from Waterford House Farms, Kirkby Malzeard will be on hand to talk about the locally sourced grass fed beef we are using. We have also selected ten beautiful Yorkshire cheeses. A real taste of the fabulous produce Yorkshire has to offer.


8th-19th November
Game Fortnight

Celebrate all that is great about local Yorkshire game. A special game menu will be running throughout, with lots of  specials on the blackboard.  

Thursday 15th December 

Lockwoods Christmas Fair 

Stock up for Christmas and preorder your cakes and wine. We have a fantastic selection of suppliers showcasing great wines, fantastic cakes, sweet treats, and decadent gifts of oils and hams for Christmas. Best of all we will be selling our own chutneys and mince pies. The fair is open from 11am to 6pm so drop in for a complimentary glass of mulled wine.

Wednesday 14th and 21st December 

Festive Jazz Suppers with Richard "Mutton Chops"

Lockwoods will be hosting live Jazz alongside our a la carte menu with seasonal specials and a great party atmosphere. Ideal for Christmas parties and get togethers.

Thursday 15th and 22nd December 

Festive Table Magic Evenings

Lockwoods will be serving its great a la carte menu whilst you are entertained at your table by extraordinary illusions and magic by Bob McBratney. A fun filled evening, great for Christmas parties.

Sunday 18th December 

Sunday Lunch with Live Jazz

We will be serving our delicious Sunday Lunch menu accompanied by Mike Westerman and his band. Relax and enjoy before the Christmas madness begins.

Saturday 24th December 

Christmas Eve

We will be serving food, including childrens menu, from 5pm to 9pm, with our Early Evening Menu available from 5pm to 6.30pm. Come and enjoy a delicious meal before the festivities start. 

Saturday 31st December 

New Years Eve

 Between 5pm and 7pm we will be running our full a la carte and childrens menus. From 7pm to 10pm we will only be running a Special New Years Eve set menu (three courses and coffee with petit fours) at �35 per head. Mimi will also be offering a great selection of Champagne to make your night go with a real pop.  

All early tables must be vacated in 2 hours (sorry there are lots of customers to keep happy).
