ANNOUNCEMENTS
Feedback Needed:
Asynchronous Friday's During
2021-2022 School Year:

One insight we gained from the pandemic was that having Asynchronous Friday's allowed teachers to focus on quality planning and professional development. It gave our students the space to pause, catch up on work, practice current skills, and advance ahead.

Due to this important learning, we are considering the idea of initiating Asynchronous Friday's once a month throughout the upcoming school year at Amana.

We would love parent feedback and input around this idea. Please share any thoughts, questions, or concerns below. Thank you for your partnership as we continue to iterate and improve!
Drive-Through Parade Volunteers Needed!

Amana's 8th grade parent graduation committee is looking for hype parents/volunteers to cheer on our 8th grade graduating class at Friday's Drive-Through from 6-7pm. If you're interested in celebrating our amazing class of 2021, please join us and sign up below!
Upcoming Report Cards:

Please note: report cards will be available to view on June 6th and transcripts on June 10th in the parent portal on Infinite Campus. Please send any questions or concerns to info@amanaacademy.org. Thanks!

SCHOOL-WIDE EVENTS
Congratulations, Amana Academy!

We are thrilled to announce that Amana Academy’s Elementary and Middle Schools have been STEM Certified for another 5 years by the Georgia Department of Education!

Thank you to our STEM Director, Ms. Angelique Barnett, for her leadership through this rigorous process; and to our community partners and parents who joined us for a portion of the visit today. Our students and teachers impressed our guests with their knowledge of the design thinking process and integrated STEM learning.

Most of all, though, the certification team couldn’t stop commenting on the culture of respect, responsibility and collaboration that they saw in our classrooms. Great job, Amana crew!!!
