The Solomon Hirsh Nurses Education Fund

In April, APF sponsored four Israeli senior nurses who came to New York for a two-week observation course at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital (NYPQ) that focuses on Emergency Medicine for Advanced Practice Practitioners.

Gynecologic Oncologist Liron Kogan: Physician/Scientist with a Passion for Patient Quality of Life
|
Liron Kogan’s grandmother died of cancer when he was a teenager, and the Tel Aviv native decided to become a doctor with a focus on medicine’s human side.
Dr. Kogan, an APF 2017-2018 Clinical Fellow in Gynecologic Oncology at Jewish General Hospital in Quebec, is “absolutely passionate about this.”
