The Libraries of Stevens County Board of Trustees will hold their August meeting at the Hunters Public Library on Wednesday, August 21st at 10:00 am. The Hunters Public Library is located at 5014 Columbia River Road, Bldg. 11, Hunters, WA 99137. As always, the meeting is open to the public and comments are welcomed. Arrangements to provide reasonable accommodations including handicap accessibility or an interpreter, will be made upon receiving forty-eight (48) hours advance notice. Dementia Information Session at the Colville Library
Every first Monday of the month, 2 - 3 pm (In person or via Zoom )
In this free, hour-long session, you will learn things like:
· What dementia is
· How to communicate with someone living with dementia
· Actions you can take to support people with dementia
· What to do if someone with dementia becomes agitated
An estimated 120,000 people in Washington state and 1100 people in Stevens County are living with dementia. Join the movement by becoming a dementia Friend!

Crayon Conversion
June 1st - August 31st
Bring us your used crayons this summer and we will send them to the National Crayon Recycle Program to be recycled and converted into new crayons!
