Dear Ospreys and Families,

On Friday, the federal government approved an appeal from the state of Colorado that means students across the state will take fewer standardized tests this spring.

  • Students in 9th, 10th and 11th grades WILL take the PSAT8/9, PSAT10 and SAT on Tuesday, April 13. Classes are cancelled on that day for all grades, including seniors, as we need all faculty helping with testing.

  • Juniors WILL NOT take the CMAS Science test on Wednesday, April 21 as previously planned, since they are no longer required by the state. Electives will meet as usual for students in all grades that day.

Submit a written statement to libby.cowles@animashighschool.com as soon as possible if you would like to opt your student out of any standardized test. Letting us know sooner rather than later really helps us with planning!
