MASK UPDATE!
Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, and recommendations from the CDC and other authorities, masks are now required at all times, on and off of the ice, here at the Nashoba Valley Olympia rink. Thank you for observing this important policy.
WINTERFEST WAS GREAT!
Our annual Winterfest Show was held on Saturday, January 15.
Thank you and congratulations to our 22 solo skaters and our Theatre on Ice teams for a wonderful evening of skating! Also thank you to all of the volunteers who came to check people in, hand out sanitizing wipes, open and close doors, sell raffle tickets and support our activity table. We could not have done it without you! Lastly, thank you to everyone who brought donations of food items for the Acton Food Pantry. We are still accepting donations here in the Colonial Office, so please feel free to stop in to give.

OFF-ICE
Off Ice Class Survey
We are working together with our partner Sarah Sherman to develop off-ice group classes for our skaters. To help with planning, please complete the following survey. We need everyone's input, so please complete the survey by Friday, February 11.
Off Ice Class Survey
Injury Prevention Program
What is it? This is an opportunity for skaters to meet 1-on-1 with Sarah Sherman at Live4PT. In this private session, skaters will perform movements and exercises, to identify strengths, weaknesses and imbalances. Based on the assessment, Sarah will provide an individualized off-ice program for each skater.
Why should you do it? Become a better, stronger skater while reducing your risk of injuries.
Sarah will be here at Colonial on the following date:
Wednesday February 23, 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Assessments will take place in the Glass Room (studio adjacent to Rink 3)
You may also schedule your assessment at Live4PT, located just one mile away at 525 Massachusetts Ave, Acton.
Sign up here: https://pteverywhere.com/PtE/live4pt/bookingonline
Note: Please make sure to click on the date you want in the online booking portal, or you may get a message stating there are no times available.
