Colonial Skaters Achieved Success at the 2022 Championship Series Competitions!

Our skaters had lots of firsts and personal bests as they skated in the Series at events in Alpharetta, GA, Leesburg, VA and Norwood, MA.

Here are some highlights… Pinwei beat her previous personal best score by 7 points in her group … Saheli landed her first double/double in competition … Ellie competed in her first qualifying competition and landed her double loop for the first time … Kate earned a personal best combined total score in her first combined Intermediate qualifying event … Leila competed in her first qualifying season and earned her first level 3 spin … Henry competed at two events in his first qualifying season and achieved a personal best, earning his first level 4 CCoSp … Charles competed in his first qualifying season, and tried 2loop and 2lutz for the first time … Sarah competed in both dance and freestyle for the first time at 3 different Championship series events … Jason competed at two events in his first qualifying season and earned level 4’s on all of his spins … Cat had a personal best in her Senior Long … Katie had a strong Junior Long … Meg improved her step sequence score and her program components score at NQS … Paige rallied in her long, and went for everything with fervor … Lauren had a clean skate in her first championship series and was very happy with how it went … Anastasia skated with poise and confidence and completed a challenging program … Maria did a wonderful job, skating in her last competition and now will continue her education at WPI!
