Loyola University Maryland and Trinity High School have partnered to offer Trinity students guaranteed admission beginning in 2024-2025. By doing so, Loyola recognizes Trinity's academically rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum that exceeds the minimum core requirements of a high school education, as well as the high placement of Trinity's graduates.
Loyola will grant admission to Trinity students who:
- complete their applications within a reasonable time frame of either the Early Decision I or Early Action deadlines;
- achieve a minimum GPA of 3.3 (as calculated by Loyola);
- have taken at least three honors level classes or higher through their junior year of high school;
- have participated in at least four seasons of athletics, four semesters of extra-curricular activities, OR one semester of part-time work through their junior year of high school;
- complete at least one community service project or activity through their junior year of high school; and
- complete all graduation requirements for Trinity and remain in good standing.
This agreement applies to first-year, fall term, undergraduate applicants, and does not include transfer students or any of Loyola's 3+1 or 4+1 programs. The guaranteed admissions agreement also excludes the Nursing Program, though all students will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Students who meet this criteria will receive, at minimum, $25,000 in aid each year for four years of undergraduate study at Loyola, for a total of $100,000.
