Construction Notice

Coastside County Water District will be making water system improvements from March 21, 2016 through May 3, 2016 in downtown Half Moon Bay. The District is replacing a critical part of our infrastructure that supplies drinking water to downtown Half Moon Bay and south to Miramontes Point Road.

The District and its contractor - Stoloski & Gonzalez Inc. - will make every attempt to minimize the inconvenience to visitors and businesses in the construction zone.

FAQs

What: The District will begin installation of a new 16 inch water main pipeline, approximately 1120 feet in length, to replace pipes that are approaching the end of their useful life.

Who: Stoloski & Gonzalez, Inc. is the contractor performing the work for the District.

When: Starting on March 21, 2016 with a completion date scheduled for May 3, 2016. Weather and or construction issues may impact the schedule.

Areas Impacted (see map below) 
  • Purissima Street between Mill Street and Pilarcitos Creek.
  • Mill Street between Purissima Street and Main Street.
  • Main Street between Stone Pine Road and Mill Street.

Work Schedule (weather permitting) 

Monday- Saturday 8:00am to 6:00pm

Sundays & Holidays 10:00am to 6:00pm (work is currently not scheduled to be performed on weekends and holidays) 

 

 

 

New
New Billing Software
The District is in the process of implementing new software for utility billing. The new software should be in place by the end of April 2016.
  • Customers will be assigned a new customer account number(s).
  • An improved online bill payment system will be implemented.
  • An improved billing statement with more information will be sent to customers.
