As we move into the warmer months, the Emery Low Barrier Emergency Shelter is offering a helping hand by adding an extra 30 beds to help other shelters in the District of Columbia that are expected to reach maximum capacity during the hot summer season. This assistance will be available until October 31 when the service will switch to the hypothermia center during the colder months. Dinner and breakfast will be provided from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
