Xajés is the Executive Director of Survivors Organizing for Liberation, a statewide organization that works towards the safety and justice of LGBTQIA survivors of violence. Prior to working with SOL, Xajés worked in higher education on the Auraria campus and Colorado State University in student affairs positions. Xajés and the team at SOL work together to maintain a 24/7 English, Spanish, and text-response hotline for LGBTQIA survivors of violence, provide advocacy and education for Coloradans, and engage QTPOC youth ages 12-25 through evening programs and services.

Celebrate the 70th Anniversary and the Legacy of LAEF at the annual Gala on March 2, 2019 at the Fillmore Auditorium. Join us as we honor our scholars, alumni and Tim Marquez, the recipient of the Sol Trujillo National Lifetime Leadership award. Dance the night away with Manuel Molina and his orchestra and explore the exciting live and silent auction items.
The Bravo Awards Gala is a night with nearly 1000 businesses, community and political leaders that come together to celebrate the American Dream.
On March 23rd the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Denver and The Hispanic Chamber Education Foundation will host the 2019 Bravo Awards Gala at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center.
