A Message from the General Manager

Good morning, we have exciting news that Epson and Florida's Natural Charity Classic will offer a free Girls Golf Clinic at the Club on March 6th. This event is intended to encourage youth understanding and participation in the game. The Clinic is for girls ages 6-17 of any ability from beginner to expert. It will offer opportunities to meet other girl golfers and tour-playing professionals while adding to your knowledge of the GAME! This will be an enriching and inspirational golf experience for all attending.

The Clinic will take place here at the Club on Wednesday, March 6. Arrival time is 4:00pm and participants are to check in at the Clubhouse, then head over to the Driving Range where the Clinic will start at 4:30pm. This is an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed!    See complete details here.

Sincerely,

Scott Scamehorn, General Manager/COO

A Message from the Membership Director

Most of us have watched televised golf tournaments when the sponsors and tournament officials thank everyone for their help in the success of the event, especially the volunteers. It is not until you are cast into a production such as opening the Epson Tour season this week at the Club, would you get a clearer picture of the unbelievable number of moving parts and just how many people it takes to pull off this event.

Not including the LPGA, Epson, FNCC, and CCWH staff, this week's tournament has more than 155 registered volunteers. If you have signed up to help make the event a success, please accept our sincerest thank you in advance! We know we could not do it without you and are looking forward to an exciting and memorable kick-off to the Epson Tour season.

Hope to see you at the Club this week!

A Message from the Facilities Manager

Trust! That is a word that is important in our everyday life and in the upkeep of your vehicles and home. In my 40 plus years of repairing equipment and vehicles I would guess that about 90% of the time the repair is a minor fix. Air Conditioners have a lot of small parts that keep the whole running. Often, it’s just a small inexpensive part that has your unit down. Contact starter points, capacitors, fan motors, thermostats, all relatively inexpensive repairs. Same goes true with appliances. I’ve seen perfectly good refrigerators on the scrap pile that just need a $10 defrost timer. I’ve made a lot of repairs at CCWH from kitchen appliances, AC units, walk in coolers to our plumbing and so far, all have been minor repairs. Make sure you find a good trustworthy repair man or get a second opinion on a costly repair.

See you around the Club,

Ray Cuzzone
