As of December 15, Clinton County 4-H Enrollment numbers stand at:
Volunteers - 51
4-H Members - 253
Clover Kids - 120
This is an increase in Clover Kids and a slight decrease in 4-H members compared to last program year. Members can still re-enroll at v2.4honline.com.
Where We've Been
Recognition Night - Throwback Style
In November, members gathered to celebrate the last 4-H year with a taco bar at Buzzy's. Lots of awards were given out to members and volunteers. Did you like the more formal, banquet-style awards night? We would love to hear from you!
New Clubs Receive Support
Newly chartered Livestock Judging Teams 4-H Club and Elk River Eagles Clover Kids Club each received $150 from the Foundation as a new club start-up gift. We are excited to see what these clubs accomplish!
Annual County 4-H T-Shirts
All enrolled members and volunteers received a new county 4-H t-shirt prior to the Clinton County Fair. Hopefully, you are still wearing them! (If you would like your business's logo on next year's shirt, check out our sponsorship brochure.)
What's Coming Up
Camp Fees Decrease by $25
Did you know the Foundation pays $25 toward Clinton County 4-H members' camp registration fees? This will be noted on camp registration forms but includes Winter Plunge Camp, Junior Camp, Legislative Trip, Intermediate Zoo trip and all camps listed on the holiday gift box sheet! (We plan to do this each year so remember for next year!
Basketball Tournament Scheduled
Save the date for March 19, 2022! The Basketball Tournament is a fun event for 4-H members to have a friendly competition between clubs. Start thinking about teams now! More details will be coming.
Academic Scholarships are Almost Here
Seniors preparing to head to college (both 2 year and 4 year) should apply for scholarships through the Foundation. Applications are available online with a deadline of April 1. Winter break would be a great time to work on scholarships!
How to Support
Memorial Gifts
Donors who choose this option can share 4-H stories and memories with loved ones. The honoree's family will also receive acknowledgement if an address is provided. Donation amounts can vary.
Sponsors receive various gifts depending on the sponsorship level they choose. Businesses or individuals can become sponsors. To be included on the t-shirt, sponsorships must be received by May 15th.
You can support our local foundation online with a credit or debit card through the Iowa 4-H Foundation. Next to "I would like to support" select "Other" and type in "Clinton County 4-H."
